Fundamentals of general engineering:

The Professional Engineer Exam is a comprehensive examination of the basics of engineering for those who are on the job and wish to obtain the rank of Associate Engineer. The test was prepared for the Saudi Council of Engineers within the requirements of registration and professional promotion. The Council of the Federation of Arab Engineers also agreed to adopt this test, which is given in English.

The test measures competence and basic engineering knowledge. It includes engineers wishing to obtain the degree of an associate engineer. Those who are about to graduate and recent graduates can enter the test and prepare to pass it, as well as those who are on the job working at the rank of engineer.

Engineering Fundamentals. It contains, in turn, two main sections:

1- It covers the general engineering fields in which all engineering-related disciplines are common, and these fields include:
•    Maths.
• Statistics and probability.
• Computer principles.
• statics and dynamics.
• Chemistry.
• Thermodynamics.
• Fluid mechanics.
• Materials Science and Engineering.
• Electricity and magnetism.
• Engineering drawing.
• Engineering Economics.
• project management.
• Professional ethics.
• General skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the field of specialization and beyond.
• communication skills.
• Skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Time management skills.
• Continuous development skills.
• Understand the concept of sustainability and the environmental, legal and social impact of engineering solutions and designs.

Engineering Specialist:

It covers the following engineering disciplines:
•    civil engineering.
•    electrical engineering.
•    Mechanical engineering.
